Beautiful Stories of the Lord

Ronald E. Boutelle  ·   Rohini-suta dasa ACBSP

Born in 1946, Ron graduated from Corinth Central High School in 1964 (turns 62 in April 2008), attended Paul Smith's College and a few years later enrolled in the prestigious Clarke Seminary near Apple Valley, California.  He is one of the founding members of the Institute of Ability.

In 1976, while living in Saratoga Springs, New York, Ron decided that he wanted better answers to his questions about God and the purpose of life.  This was a momentous period in his life.  Always willing to think and act outside the box, Ron spent the next five years living with a group of Vaishnava monks who taught him the value of prayer and the wisdom of ancient India.  In 1977 Ron was initiated by Shrila Prabhupada into the first stages of bhakti yoga (loving devotional service to the Lord).

While living in Denver and managing ISKCON's Food for Life program, a tremendous tornado struck the town of Limon, Colorado.   Ron began taking disaster-relief courses and within a year founded, Krishna Disaster Relief (see book section: Lord Krishna in the 21st Century).

Now beginning to sense the shadow of old age fall upon him, Ron had always promised himself that around this time in his life he would try to share with others some of the things that he has discovered over his many years.  In 2008 Ron began to invite friends to his home where the Cedar Post Ministry held it's first meeting.  In the photo section you can look at pictures of his small sanctuary.  This is  actually the same building where Ron spent many years building furniture for gift shops across America.  This is why it looks a bit on the rustic side.  Actually, this unique setting has become quite endearing to everyone who has enjoyed sitting around the open fireplace and sipping green tea.

Most likely some will wonder, why the blending of two religions?  As Ron recently said, "I guess it is because I love both.  I feel at home with both.  I have dear friends in both.  They both inspire and protect me."

If you are inclined to be a Christian, then Ron sincerely hopes with all his heart that on these pages you will find something to bring you closer to Christ, Almighty.  If you are inclined to worship their Lordships Sri Sri Radha and Krsna ...Nitai Gauranga  ...then again, he hopes that you find his website worthwhile.  On the links page you will find plays that can be a very useful resource  ...plus there is so much more.

Thank You,
